14 Mandatory Allergens
EU Regulation 1169/2011 — required information for any food served in hospitality across the European Union.
What does the law say?
Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 requires all food businesses in the European Union (restaurants, bars, cafés, takeaways, catering) to inform customers about the presence of any of the 14 declared allergens in each dish — in writing, before purchase.
