Status in Europe

Mandatory e-invoicing for restaurants in Europe

The European Directive 2014/55/EU established the basis for e-invoicing in public contracts, and since then each country has implemented its own obligations for the private sector. Restaurants, like any business, must adapt to their country's requirements before the set deadlines to avoid penalties.

Pricora integrates billing functions adapted to each European country: from Spanish Verifactu with its QR code and SHA-256 hash, to Italian FatturaPA with SDI transmission, Portuguese SAF-T, Greek myDATA or the future Polish KSeF.
